With a wealth of experience, Dean has successfully trained over 600 enthusiasts in trail and enduro bike techniques over an impressive eight-year period. In 2013, he clinched the coveted Over 40 TracknTrail Enduro Championship title, showcasing his exceptional skills and dedication.

The following year, Dean secured victory in the 2014 Mercian Dirt Riders Over 40 Championship, earning him the esteemed status of a veteran expert. Throughout his journey, he has triumphed in various enduro events organized by clubs like ‘Core Enduro’ and ‘West Wilts,’ consistently positioning himself at the forefront of the races.

Dean’s expertise extends beyond the race track. As a knowledgeable guide, he is well-versed in the green road network, spanning from Cornwall to Barmouth. He passionately organizes weekend trips, including adventurous excursions to the Isle of Man. With his extensive mechanical know-how and unwavering commitment to safety, Dean ensures memorable and secure experiences for his participants.

Beyond his roles as a coach and guide, Dean is a staunch advocate for long-distance trials and environmental conservation efforts on the green road network. He actively supports organizations like TRF and GLASS, emphasizing the importance of preserving these natural landscapes for future generations.

Dean’s passion for teaching is evident through his involvement in TRF events and track building initiatives, particularly at Somerset TRF events. He has been a driving force behind numerous events, including the ‘Ubley Muddle’ in collaboration with NSMCC, fun enduros, checkpoints, and scatter events. Additionally, he conducts special training days featuring renowned figures in the off-road world, such as five-time World Enduro Champion David Knight, two-time British Extreme Experts Champion Fred Adams, and expert/pro rider Charley Frost.
